Speaking to the multi-cultural neighborhood of Rego Park, Queens in New York City, where this new-construction condominium building is located, was a driving factor behind the design direction. Rather than draw people away from Manhattan, the Owner sought to provide a Manhattan-style living experience for potential buyers, many of whom are first-time homeowners, already living in the area. To this end, SAA specified materials for the lobby, amenity area, corridors, and elevators that tastefully communicate success and wealth. Similarly, the unit finishes and layouts, also included in SAA’s scope of work, reflect this feeling - that buyers have attained a lifestyle “look” more commonly found and associated with Manhattan high-rise living. This building is part of a larger, mixed-use development that includes retail, restaurants, and community services.
